Composition

The composition is a media that, as its name suggests, displays a collection of one or more media. In a composition, you can adjust the layout and size of the media in an area corresponding to your display surface.

Change the background of a composition

To begin with, after creating your "Composition" media, you have the possibility in the "General tools" block :

• assign a background color to your composition

• import an image as a background

• choose a predefined background from a list

It is also in this area that you can set an orientation (Portrait/Landscape) and a different aspect ratio if needed.

• Layers: explanations

Before you start creating your composition, it is important to understand the concept of "layer" used in a composition

Definition of "Layer": A layer is a graphic element superimposed on another, the whole forming an image. A layer is therefore a part of an image that complements another to create a complete image.

For each media added to your composition, a layer will be created.

You can move, edit, delete, foreground/background a layer using the window on the right.
